On display are three image-text works from Bordeaux, Berlin-Hellersdorf and Halle 
a.d. Saale - in constellation.

Firstly, as the title soberly states, the three works in the exhibition share different relationships between image and text. Text as a motif of the image - images as symbolic signs, to be read like paratext - text as a commentary on visual noise far from language.

Secondly, and less explicitly, all the works can be understood as different negotiations of the relationship between photography and voice. Starting with the rhetoric of the image: one could say which expression it chooses - via the possibility of making a literary voice legible in text form and audible in its tonality via the printed image - to montage, which places voices on or in images and thus creates a third place for dialogue.
