Rechte Gewalt erinnern im öffentlichen Raum

Meeting point: 1:30 p.m., memorial pavilion at Marwa El-Sherbini-Platz
End: approx. 3:30 p.m., Galerie K'
On Marwa El-Sherbini Square in Bremen, there is a pavilion commemorating twelve people who were killed by right-wing violence.
The Amadeu Antonio Foundation counts at least 221 deaths from right-wing violence between 1990 and 2023. Some of these cases moved the public, but many went largely unnoticed. Most have been forgotten. Neither photos nor names of many of the dead have been published. The Köfte Kosher project has therefore selected twelve victims of right-wing extremist violence to commemorate their fates visually in public space.
The Köfte-Kosher-Pavillon on Marwa-El-Sherbini-Square commemorates:
Ahmet Șarlak
Alberto Adriano
Françoise Makodila Landu
Marwa El-Sherbini
Belaid Baylal
Karl-Hans Rohn
Helmut Sackers
Dragomir Christinel
Mehmet Kubaşık
Klaus-Peter Beer
Andreas Oertel
Alfred Salomon
Elianna Renner from Köfte Kosher will talk about these people and their stories on site. Afterwards, the walk will lead to the exhibition Angst vor der Tagesordnung (Fear of the Agenda) at Galerie K', where the art of Susanne Keichel and Noa Gur specifically addresses the murder of Marwa El-Sherbini and institutional failure in the context of this event.
The event will be held in German, the route has low barriers, participation is free of charge - we welcome donations to Köfte Kosher
